We’re excited about the new lineup of kids furnishings for the 2011 IKEA catalog year. Lots of color with an emphasis on pink and blue make kids bedrooms loads of fun to design and live in. IKEA has TROFAST has not been discontinued, just going through a changeover...] to the dismay of many. We share your pain. However, there’s a fabulous new colorful lineup of modular IKEA storage options for kids that we’re sure you’re going to love: STUVA.

Available in pink, blue, aqua, green, white and birch, STUVA components include tall, medium and short doors; shallow, medium and deep drawers in two widths; wire baskets; hanging rods; and fixed shelves to allow you to design the perfect storage for your kids’ bedrooms.

IKEA Children’s Beds for 2012

In addition to the pink SOMMAT crib shown above which will also be available in blue and green (Thank you, @AndreaKDennis!), there are some other new (and not so new) IKEA beds for 2012. Below is the GULLIVER childs bed in white, followed by the TROMSO bunk bed and the TROMSO loft bed in what looks like white powder coated steel.
